So I'm still phenominally slow, but I think I'm getting better. I think it's frustration more than anything that's got me starting to forget about quality and just write, but I'll take what I can get for now. I'm still hitting a few stumbling blocks like "Oh my god, this is the most boring beginning of a book ever" and "Why is my main character reverting to spoiled brat territory? I thought I worked him through all that!" But I'm mostly still writing set up, so I figure once I get to the real meat and potatoes of the book it'll get better.
